Girls With Impact — a national nonprofit equipping young women with real-world business and career skills — is offering no-cost, live-online programs starting February 9:
Career Accelerator Series (ages 18–24)
Build workplace confidence, networking skills, time management, goal-setting, and professional communication. Earn a digital micro-credential to add to LinkedIn and resumes.

Business & Leadership Academy (ages 14–24)
Turn ideas into action. Learn entrepreneurship, leadership, financial basics, and presentation skills — and graduate with a Business & Leadership micro-credential.
Programs are offered virtually, on evenings and weekends, and include small-group learning and instructor support.

New York State Department of Financial Services’ Summer 2026 internship opportunities
This year, the New York State Department of Financial Services has expanded its internship program from three positions to seven, including:

Internships are unpaid. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and be able to receive academic credit or a stipend from their school.

Coding it Forward Fellowship Opportunity

If your a student or early-career technologists committed to public service and problem solving, consider this opportunity.
For ten weeks over the summer, Fellows have the chance to innovate in a local, state, or federal government office and modernize the public services our communities need to thrive. We are currently hiring for roles in cybersecurity, data, design, product management, and software engineering.
I’ve attached a one-pager that further details our Fellowship along with this listing of upcoming information sessions. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until Monday, January 19th.
CUNY Tech Prep
CUNY Tech Prep is a yearlong technical and professional development program for CUNY computer science and related majors to learn in-demand technologies, master professional soft skills, and land great tech jobs in NYC.
Requirements:

You will be required to upload your unofficial transcript from CUNYFirst and your resume at the end of the application Make sure both are formatted as PDFs before you start (on CUNYFirst, you can select "print" on the document. Civil Service Pathways Fellowship 🏢
The Department of Citywide Administrative Services' Civil Service Pathways Fellowship (CSPF) is a two-year program for City University of New York (CUNY) graduates designed to create a pipeline from college to a career in civil service. The fellowship is full-time and offers a competitive salary and benefits.
Selected candidates are hired into high-demand positions across the City in one of six professional/career tracks:
Policy and Program Analysis ($48,956)

Creative Services and Digital Media ($48,956)

U.S. Tech Force
The newly launched U.S. Tech Force is recruiting an IT Specialist (Data Management) for 2-year federal appointments across agencies. This role leads IT data engineering projects, including data management initiatives, system testing strategies, and quality assurance protocols. Requires one year of specialized experience with SQL, data engineering coordination (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, AWS/Azure), end-to-end project management, technical communication, and building secure, scalable solutions. This position is set at the GS-14 level. Apply by January 16th.
The newly launched U.S. Tech Force is recruiting an IT Software Engineer to lead major IT application development projects across federal agencies. This role involves planning and executing software design, development, testing, and implementation; leveraging AI-assisted development tools; serving as technical lead for large-scale initiatives; and leading project teams. Requires specialized experience coordinating software work (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, Spring, React, Node), running projects end-to-end, solving problems with secure/scalable solutions, and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
