2026 Technology Summer Analyst Program | J&J

Summer Analysts join us for 10 weeks and are recruited and placed into a specific development, engineering or business & data analytics team. These programs are designed to offer a real-world, project-based experience of what it’s like to be a technologist for a top financial Firm.

Summer Program: Summer Analysts will participate in an induction day that provides an overview of the Firm, followed by direct placement into their teams. In addition to working on a live project, program highlights include senior management networking events, technical demonstrations, team-building opportunities and participation in the Firm’s community service initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills

  • 0-1 years of professional experience in Technology or related field

  • Experience in the financial services sector not required

Software Developer Intern (New York) – Summer 2026 | D. E. Shaw

The D. E. Shaw group seeks talented individuals with impressive records of academic and/or professional achievement to join the firm as software developer interns. Interns interact with various trading groups and gain valuable work experience while demonstrating their skills on a variety of real-world projects in a collegial and inclusive environment conducive to learning. This is a 12-week program that will take place in New York and is expected to run from June to August 2026.

Overview

  • Candidates should be detail-oriented and creative, with exceptional problem-solving capabilities and programming skills (which may include experience programming in languages such as Python, Java, or C/C++). 

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently is a plus. 

  • Students who apply to this internship are usually approaching their final year of full-time study

  • No previous finance experience is necessary, though candidates should have an interest in learning about quantitative finance.

  • The position offers a monthly base salary of $22,000, overtime pay, a sign-on bonus of $20,000, travel coverage to and from the internship, and choice of furnished summer housing or a $10,000 housing allowance. It also includes a $3,300 stipend for self-study materials and a $4,000 stipend for personal technology equipment. If you have any questions about the compensation, please ask one of our recruiters.

Business Analyst Intern - Summer 2026 | Capital One

As an intern in the Analyst Intern Program (AIP), you’ll apply your strategic and analytical skills to impactful challenges on an experienced and collaborative team, that drive company growth—like building strong technology-driven products for our customers, crafting our marketing and digital strategy, and analyzing the business impacts of credit approval and real-time fraud detection, just to name a few. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and explore, while being mentored by senior leaders and associates in our Analyst Development Program.

Whether you want to develop your strategic business acumen or refine your technical skills through coding and modeling, this experience will help launch your career journey. With the strong business foundation and supportive cohort of peers and leaders you’ll gain as an AIP intern, the career possibilities are endless.

Key Role Details

  • This is a full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2026.

  • Participation in the internship requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model, for the duration of the program.

  • Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within our rotational programs, with start dates six months to one year following the completion of the internship.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2027 or earlier (for example: If you are graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in May 2026 and are also currently enrolled in a full-time Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date of May 2027, then your most recent full-time degree program is your Master’s degree)

  • Must be continuing in the same course of study of your most recent full-time degree program following completion of the internship
