Datadog - Software Engineering Intern, SRE
Requirements:
You are targeting a 2027 full-time start date
You are in the process of receiving/have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
You are comfortable coding in one or more languages (experience with Go or Python is a plus)
You have strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design, operating systems, networking to name a few)
You have taken classes or have done individual projects that are security or site reliability engineering focused or adjacent, and are curious to learn more about it
You are a self-starter who enjoys working with other people and are motivated in making the lives of your engineering peers a bit easier
You value code simplicity and performance
You have worked as a software engineering intern or have related industry experience
You are interested in solving the challenges of reliability at a fast-growing tech company
You are available to work full-time from the Datadog New York office from one of the following:

Brooklyn Navy Yard Spring 2026 Internship Program Application
Spring 2026 Internship Program Details:
• Start and End Date:
Monday, February 9th, 2026
Friday, April 3rd, 2026
• Accepted interns commit to part-time, 15-to-20-hour work weeks, and are compensated at $16.50/hr. Interns onboard and are paid by the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation.
• Interns will participate in various professional development activities throughout the program.
Additional Details:
• Interns are selected based on their demonstration of strong communication skills, work ethic, and track record of commitment and achievement.
• Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 21st, 2025
• Limited internships are available, so applications should be sent in as soon as possible. Applications accepted earlier in the process will have greater likelihood of matching to an internship role in their desired field(s).
