Hello and welcome CST Students!

If we haven’t met yet, we’re CUNY2X Tech, partnering with the CST department to support and guide Computer Systems Technology students on their path to graduation and into fulfilling careers in tech. Our mission is to increase the number of CST students who graduate and secure full-time roles in the tech industry immediately upon graduation. To achieve this, we’re collaborating with the Tech Talent Pipeline to expand opportunities for CST graduates and ensure they’re well-prepared for success in their careers.

In this first edition of our newsletter, we’ll cover our current initiatives designed to support your journey in tech.

Services!

Advisement:

CUNY2X offers advisement services with our career coach, Arthur Chisolm, and CUNY Assistant, Kimberly. Arthur provides guidance on resume building, career exploration, and more to help students become career-ready. Internship Opportunities: GitHub Repository

We also have two dedicated GitHub repositorys for internship opportunities! We currently have one for students studying Software development and one for data science.

All interships are based in New York some are remote/Hybrid while others are in person. These repos will be updated after applications close so keep and eye out.

Highlight of the Month
This month we have started the Tech Talent Pipleine Residency with a corhort of 40 CST students.

^{TTPR is a 1 Year intensive program where participants receive technical training, build resume ready projects, professional development, and are guided by industry informed coaches to be competitive candidates in the work force.}
